Directions for use
NitFree - the comb that effectively removes both lice and nits (eggs)!
NitFree is a patented steel comb with long comb teeth, which have microgrooved spiral formed channels. The distance between the comb teeth, which is under 0.2 mm, and the microgrooved channels special form makes it possible to catch and remove both lice and nits while combing.
The microgrooved steel teeth causes damage to the nits, which makes it difficult for new nits to hatch.
All nits and eggs that come into contact with the NitFree comb's microgrooving as they pass through the comb teeth end up being unviable.
By using NitFree you will have an environmental friendly and effective method of treatment for removing both lice and nits. NitFree is also good for allergic or sensitive children/persons.
How to use NitFree
Use NitFree in the bathroom so that you can easily clean the comb under running water between each comb stroke.
- Keep the hair dry or wet it lightly.
- Use a regular comb or brush to untangle the hair.
- Divide the hair into smaller sections and use NitFree to carefully comb through each section. It is important to comb as close to the scalp as possible to remove all nits. Those sections that have been combed through should be kept separate from those not yet combed. Don't forget to clean the comb under running water between each comb stroke.
- Sterilise NitFree when you have finished the treatment. Don't forget to clean any other combs or brushes you might have used to untangle the hair.Repeat the procedure above on a daily basis until you are rid of all lice and nits. We also recommend that you check if other members of your family have lice or nits to avoid further contamination.
When the treatment is finished and you are free of all lice and nits, we recommend that you continue to use NitFree on a regular basis as a precaution.
Cleaning the comb
NitFree is simple to clean. If you carefully pull the comb teeth apart while holding the comb under running water all lice and nits will disappear. To make sure that no contamination is possible at the next occasion of treatment the comb should be sterilised, by putting the comb in boiling water for 1 minute.
